在東方城的英語班，老師的要求非常的嚴格，要我們默單詞，背課文。一開始，我非常的不適應，經常被老師留下來，背書背不出來，經常像擠牙膏一樣，老師提醒一句，我背一句。默寫也會錯很多，在默寫的時候，我不會，好多都空著，而且左看看右看看，希望抄到一些答案，結果要重新默寫。爸爸媽媽也很擔憂我的現狀，于是，他們教給我了一種學習方法，讓我每一天早上一起來，就打開復讀機聽英語，之后我發現，聽著聽著，我就把一課背了下來，現在，不僅我會背老師教過的一課，而且還會背誦老師還沒有交的課文呢！這樣，我就良性循環，越來越好了。在星期六的時候，老媽會對我的'單詞進行檢查，把不會背的單詞用紅筆圈出來，一直反復檢查，直到我會了為止，這樣，我在上英語班時再也沒有抄過別人的答案，而且正確率明顯提高了。上英語班時，有一些不會背書的同學拿著書在拼命的記憶，可是最終的結果還是不會背而像我這樣會背的，則拿著書在那兒無所事事，直到老師叫我背為止。
從這次上英語班的經歷，我懂得了一個道理：“只要掌握了好的學習方法，讓自己走在前面，那你的成績就會越來越好，反之，不做作業，陰天拖稻草，越積越多，你的成績不可能好，所以要在任何方面走在別人的前面，你就會做出最好的自己，使自己的優點全部發揚光大。”
