為了豐富我們的業余生活，為了提高我們的英語對話能力，我們學校舉辦了一個外語節活動，活動的內容豐富多彩，有唱歌、小品、購物。但給我留下印象最深刻就是芝麻街購物。它的特點是，購買時并不是用國語來說，而是用英語來表達的。
星期五下午，我們503班排著整齊的隊伍來到大禮堂。一進大禮堂，只見里面人山人海，擠得水泄不通。我觀察四周，大禮堂到處可見五彩繽紛的帶子、牌子。售貨員正滔滔不絕地向顧客介紹著產品，好做出買賣。我好不容易走了進去，一件件玲朗滿目的商品，看得我眼花繚亂，挑選什么好呢？每一樣都是那么的好看、實用。我猶豫了一會兒，來到文具類的地方，左挑挑，右拿拿，終于選中了一件商品——學校的袋子。我舉起袋子，問售貨員：“How much is it?”(這個多少元)。
“Two yuan.”(2元)。售貨員馬上回答我。我拿出2張1元的學校專用的錢，遞給了她。她拿起一個紙袋給了我。后來我又挑選了許多東西，有紙杯、筆記本、筆。我高高興興地滿載而歸。
通過這次有趣的.英語節——芝麻街購物活動，不僅豐富了我們的業余生活使我們從中得到快樂，也提高了我們的英語對話能力。我希望學校還能多搞幾次這樣的活動。

在英語老師說完準備好了嗎的那一剎那，比賽開始了！在老師寫下第一個單詞的第一個字母時，我趕緊翻到了那個區域，正在我埋頭苦找的時候，突然有人舉起手喊道：“老師，我找到了！”我的心頓時冰到了極點。“完了，第一個都沒搶到。”可我并沒有灰心，我在字典上一遍又一遍地翻著，一次又一次地找著，沒有，還是沒有。我依然堅持著，額頭上不禁多了幾滴汗珠。終于，功夫不負有心人，我在經歷了四次后找到了第五個單詞，看到單詞的后面寫上了我的學號，心里別提有多高興了！
最終，我以成功查到三個英語單詞的`成績獲得了第三名，還不錯嘛！我心里美滋滋的想著。
之所以能得到第三名，是因為我做到了遇事鎮定，不緊張！這節英語課太有意義了。
