一想到我當上了英語班長，就高興得合不攏嘴。
那一天，英語老師要選班長，我心里七上八下的，特別緊張，不知道能不能選上，只聽旁邊一個同學說道：“我選李騰耀，你選誰了？”他的同桌鄭凱元說：“別選他，他學習不好。”那個同學說：“這些天他進步很大，老師常表揚他呢！我就選他了。”我被深深的感動了。
老師讓董晨光和田家寶去唱票，“李騰耀、李騰耀·····”我的.票數慢慢地增加，我的心里仍然十分緊張，因為李哲陽的票數也不少。最后老師說：“李騰耀票數最多。”我簡直不敢相信自己的耳朵。老師又說：“李騰耀，請到講臺上來。”我飛快地跑到了講臺上，這時全班同學向我投來羨慕的目光，老師說：“李騰耀當班長。”臺下響起了一陣熱烈的掌聲。
我想，我不但要好好學習，還要幫助同學，不辜負同學們對我的信任，做一個合格的班長。
