2016年12月英語四級聽力技巧之計算類概述題
相對其他題型而言，計算類是四級聽力中的基礎題(可分為計算題、細節辨認題、等值轉換題)，也應該是你的搶分題，故不可“大意失荊州”。
地球人都知道四級中聽力的計算類不是在考咱們連小學生一年級都會做的加減乘除，測評大家的IQ，醉翁之意不在酒，而是在考大家對英語聽力的反應速度，只要意識到這一點，現在你就要學會如何運用技巧來所謂的“抓魚”了——核心在于抓住關鍵的細節所在之處，in a other word，你要知道根據題意該聽什么，怎么把它去聽準。更多詳細的分析在下面，歡迎閱讀。
計算題
M: When does the next shuttle bus leave?
W: You have just missed one by 20 minutes. We have a bus every 45 minutes, so you’ll have to wait for a while.

C) 20 minutes D) 45 minutes
【解析】 當你看見這四個選項，不難發現這一題是在考與時間有關的內容，并且從選項當中可以推測到是考時間的加減關系，因為其中三個選項都是正確答案的干擾選項，說到這里，你就要做好充分的思想準備。原文中除了聽清20和45兩個數字之外，重要的是明白其之間的聯系，通過missed知道已經錯過，而介詞“by”專門用在計算題表差額;通過every知道每輛車之間45分鐘，問的是wait for the next bus 還得等多長時間，很清楚這里是減法的計算關系，所以選擇A。
細節辨認題
M: I wonder if Jack will come here by 11 o’clock.
W: His wife said he left home at 10:30, so he should be here at 11:20 at the latest.
Q: What time did Jack leave home?
A) 11:20 B) 10:30 C) 10:50 D) 11:30
【解析】 原文中出現三個數字，11:00是Man覺得杰克應該到的時間;10:30是杰克的妻子說他離開家的時間;11:20是Woman認為杰克應該到的時間。我們再來看問題，選B是對號入座。
【死馬活醫】 如果沒聽清，這里就要充分運用技巧來猜選，時間中的B和C選項，可以合并小時“10”;時間中的B和D選項，可以合并分鐘“30”，通過合并同列項方法，就能猜選答案為B。
等值轉換題
M: These postcards cost 60 cents a dozen.
W: Two dozen should certainly do.
Q: How many postcards will the man buy?
A) 60 B) 12 C) 24 D) 16
【解析】 第一句話是“聲東擊西”，60美分一打，問題并不是我們所期待的考多少錢，考價格，而是在問數量，第二句話提到數量，但前面加了pair,意味著要乘以2。除了清楚這些還不夠，dozen是英語中數字的代用詞，表示12。所以選C。
