　　1、觀察記憶法

　　利用這種方法在初次接觸單詞時可以通過巧妙觀察很快記住單詞。

　　如：

　　boy toy joy

　　line fine nine

　　night right light 等

　　通過觀察發現，這幾組單詞都分別具有相同的部分，只要變換一個字母就變成另外一個單詞。因此，只要記住其中一個單詞的拼寫，就能很快的記住其它幾個單詞。

　　又如：he she

　　not no

　　通過觀察我們發現，這幾組單詞是在已學單詞的基礎上添上或減去一個字母就變成另一個單詞，知道這些，再來記單詞時就變得容易多了。

　　2、構詞法記憶法

　　通過對英語單詞構成的了解，學生能很快地記住單詞。英語主要有三種構詞法：

　　1）轉化，即由一個詞類轉化為另一個詞類。例如：

　　picture(n)畫-picture(v)描繪

　　water(N)水--water（v) 澆水

　　2）派生，即演過加前綴或后綴構成另一個詞，例如：

　　happy--unhappy（加前綴）happiness（加后綴）

　　3）合成，即由兩個或更多的詞合成一個詞。例如：

　　play（玩）＋ground（場地）= playground（操場）

　　black(黑）＋board（木板）= blackboard（黑板）

　　這種記憶法可以將具有同一基本意義的不同詞性或具有相反意義的一系列單詞同時記憶，使不同單詞的詞義、詞性不易混淆。

　　3、對比記憶法

　　英語和漢語一樣，英語中也有許多同義詞，反義詞，同形異義詞和同音異形異義詞等。我們可以根據這些特點，讓學生對比著記憶，即省力又記得牢。例如：

　　（1）反義詞：high—low , big—small, quick—slow,

　　right—wrong, good—bad, fat---thin,

　　hot—cold 等。

　　（2）同義詞：good idea—great—ok—all right,

　　good—fine—well, see—look at—watch 等。

　　（3）同形異義詞：

　　right（正確）—right（權利）, watch(看)—watch(手表)，

　　well（水井）—well（好）， orange（橙色的）—orange(橙子)等

　　（4）同音異形異義詞：

　　sun（太陽）—son（兒子）,right（右）—write（寫）,

　　I（我）—eye（眼）， too（也）—two（二）

　　their(他們的)—there（那）等。

　　4、形象記憶法

　　就是利用單詞整體或局部結構的象形性（形狀）想象到某種含義，加深印象，從而達到強化記憶的目的。如“eye”從它的形狀來看兩個“e”像人的兩只眼睛，而中間的“y”就是人的鷹鉤鼻，既形象又好記。又如Zoo看起來有點像200，我們就說200只動物在動物園。當然，這兩種方法最好是讓學生動腦，自己發現，編寫。這樣就化繁為簡，便于學生理解，同時也發揮了學生的想象力。

　　5、瞬時記憶法

　　瞬時記憶也叫快速記憶、限時記憶法，就是在記憶單詞時，先向學生明確記憶指標，限定時間快速識記，然后由教師檢查記憶效果的一種記憶方法。按照心理學原理，記憶分為瞬間記憶、短時記憶和長時記憶三種，瞬間記憶雖然存儲時間短，但在記憶過程中發揮主要的作用。在瞬間記憶的基礎上，通過聯想和回憶，就能轉化為長時記憶，從而提高記憶單詞的效率。

　　6、“編唱歌曲”記憶法

　　美妙的旋律和歡快的節奏會給學生帶來美感，促進其智力和思維能力的發展。利用英語歌曲能有效地調動學生多感官參與學習活動，記憶單詞自然變得輕松。如教《Do you have any staplers？》一文，筆者讓學生根據所學內容編寫歌曲，發揮學生聰明才智。學生邊吟唱，邊改編，爭當小詞曲家。這一活動，我們把stapler分別變換ruler 、paper、tape等新單詞，而且，還復習了pen、pencil、ball pen等舊單詞，真是一舉多得呀！

　　7、歸類鞏固法

　　復習時分為文具類，食品類，感覺類等總結記憶，或放入特定情景中鞏固。如：購物游游戲，單詞接龍，英語韻律歌謠進行操練。

　　8、遺忘規律記憶法

　　心理學研究證明，遺忘的規律是先快后慢，剛記住的材料，最初幾小時內遺忘的速度最快。如果 4 — 7 天內不復現，記憶將受到抑制，甚至完全消失，而防止遺忘的有效方法就是及時而經常地復習。為此，我們要引導學生對所學的詞匯進行有計劃地重復識記，使學生在反復學習中鞏固所學詞匯。
