英語單詞記憶的原則
對于英語單詞的學習，雖然每個人都有適合自己的方法，背單詞的特點都不同，但是，有幾個原則可能是通用的，具體有哪些呢，我們一起來看看！
1.provoke 對......挑釁，激怒，引起
單詞解析：pro 向前，在前+voke=call/voice 喊→在你面前喊→激怒你→激怒刺激。
英英:provoke=to cause the occurrence of (a feeling or action):to make (something) happen
例句：she provokes her sister by making a face at her.
她做鬼臉來挑釁她的姐姐。
If one firm goes under it could provoke a cascade of bankruptcies.
如果一家公司倒閉，便有可能引發一連串的破產。
His duty was to conciliate the people, not to provoke them.
他的職責是安撫那些人，而不是去激怒他們。
2.complement v.補充，與......相配，n. 補充，互為補充的東西，補語
單詞解析：Comple充滿+ment名詞后綴→complement補足
英英：complement=to complement something else or make it better.
例句：nothing complements spaghetti like a glass of red wine.
和意大利面最配的就是紅酒了。
Nutmeg, parsley and cider all complement the flavour of these beans well.
肉豆蔻、西芹和蘋果酒都能很好地突出這些豆子的味道。
Rice makes an excellent complement to a curry dish.
有咖喱的菜配米飯最棒.
