托福詞匯英語單詞比比看
基本詞匯：
look:是常用詞, 指“注意或有意識地看”。 強調動作，常用短語look at,have a look at.
Example:
He looked but saw nothing.他看了, 但什么也沒看見。
read:看報紙，看書等時用read
Example:
My fahter always reads magazines after dinner.
see:強調看的結果，常用句型：see sb. do sth.(看到某人做某事，強調過程，看到了事情的整個經過。see sb. doing sth.(看到某人正在做某事，看到某事正在發生）。
Example:
I saw her playing a tennis match. (part of the process部分過程)
I saw her play a tennis match.(the entire process完整過程)
watch:聚精會神的看，觀察。用法與see基本一樣。
Example:
She sat and watched the children play.她坐下來看著孩子們玩耍。
sight:此詞與視力和視覺有關，意指察看或視野。
Example:
Don't let the puppy out of your sight.別讓小狗離開你的視線。
進階詞匯：
gaze: 凝視，注視，指由于好奇、感嘆、長時間目不轉睛地看。
Example:
The girl gazed at her beautiful new doll.女孩目不轉睛地看著她美麗的新娃娃。
He gazed out the window at the snow.他凝視這窗外的雪。
stare指“睜大眼睛、目不轉睛地盯著看”
Example:
It's impolite to stare at people.盯著看人不禮貌。
glare怒目而視，強調懷有敵意或在氣憤的情緒下看
Example:
He glared at her.他向她瞪眼。
The woman glared at the man after he yelled at her.那男人粗暴地沖她大聲喊叫，她也怒目而視。
peek指“偷看”、“通過孔隙窺視”
Example:
Close your eyes, and no peeking!閉上眼睛，不許偷看！
gape:(張著嘴、瞪大眼睛)呆看，強調一種吃驚的狀態。
Example:The audiences gaped at the Magician's performance.觀眾們張大了嘴巴呆呆地看著魔術師的表演。
glance:(粗略地、隨便地)一瞥，看一眼。
Example:
Glancing down, she noticed her shoe was untied.往下瞅了一眼，她發現鞋帶開了。
glimpse與glance意思相近，短促地看一眼，一瞥。
peep:窺視，偷看。
Example:
She peeped at her textbook during the examination.她在考場上偷看教科書。

stare:凝視，盯著，指由于好奇、驚訝、贊嘆等原因而瞪大眼睛長時間地、直接地注視常常含有粗魯無禮的意思。
Example:
