《This is the river Thames》的教案

　　一、教學目標

　　1、使學生能正確運用long / wide / beautiful/等詞描述景物或物品。

　　2、了解世界各地著名建筑，培養學生英語學習興趣，增長見識。

　　二、教學重點

　　1、單詞發音準確，如Thames等。

　　2、本課四個景物詞組

　　the River Thames Big Ben

　　Hyde Park Tower Bridge

　　3、使學生能運用所學詞組對自己熟悉的景物進行簡單、正確的描述。

　　4、激發學生興趣，使他們敢于用簡單的語言準確描述身邊景物。

　　三、教具準備

　　單詞卡片、錄音機等。

　　四、設置教法

　　運用TPR、游戲、小組競賽等活動吸引學生的注意力，并激發其熱情，培養學生的興趣，小組合作學習等方法進行組織教學。

　　五、教學步驟

　　Step1: Warm up

　　1、Sing an English song.

　　2、Greetings.

　　3、Words game

　　4、誰能讀得最快最好。

　　5、小組競賽。

　　（設計意圖：開展活動，活躍氣氛，為下一步教學做準備，并復習單詞long / tall / beautiful）

　　Step2: Presentation

　　1、老師裝扮成一名導游T: Now, I am a guitde. I’ll take you to visit London. Look,! What ‘s this?

　　(呈現圖片一：the River Thames ) Do you know what it is ?

　　板書：the River Thames，教學生認讀這個詞組。

　　（1）個別學生讀。

　　（2）男、女讀。

　　（3）小組讀。

　　2、Qustions:

　　(1) Is it long? Is it wide?

　　學生做出相應的回答，同時教學單詞wide。

　　小結：This is the River Thames . It is very long . It is very wide.

　　學生模仿總結，教讀這些句子，同時用同樣的方法出示圖片并教學

　　Big Ben / Hyde park / Tower Bridge.

　　3、Play the tape:

　　（1）學生聽音指圖。

　　（2）再放錄音，學生跟讀課文。

　　（設計意圖：設計情景，導入新知，以圖片吸引學生注意力，讓學生注意觀察，熟練掌握詞組。通過問答，達到對圖片描述的目的，使學生能自由地對熟悉的景物進行簡單、正確地描述。）

　　Step3: Practice

　　1、師生練習T: This is the River Thames.

　　Ss: It’s long and wide.

　　T: This is the Big Ben.

　　Ss: It’s very old. And it’s very famous.

　　2、生生練習

　　3、呈現學生熟悉的四幅海陽風景圖，指導學生利用句型This is / It is來談論這些圖片。

　　（1）家家悅超市。

　　（2）招虎山森林公園。

　　（3）鳳城萬米海灘。

　　（4）新元廣場。

　　4、讓學生欣賞四幅世界各地的著名風景圖，并做簡單地描述。

　　（the Summer Palace / the Buckingham Palace/

　　the Great Wall / Mount Qomolangma）

　　（設計意圖：介紹一些世界各地的著名景點，培養學生的興趣，增長見識。）

　　Step 4: learn to sing : London Bridge Is Falling Down.

　　1、Play the tape.

　　2、Teach Ss sing and do the actions.

　　（設計意圖：讓歌曲陶冶情操，進一步激發學生的英語學習興趣，放松緊張的學習氣氛，在快樂的音樂中結束本課。）

　　Homework：

　　使用句型This is / It is描述你曾去過的一個景點。

　　六、板書設計

　　Unit 2 This is the River Thames.

　　This is The River Thames---- it’s very long and wide.

　　Big Ben --- old and tall.Hyde Park --- beautiful.

　　Tower Bridge --- famous and beautiful.
