              在考托福的時候有些單詞是比較容易混淆的,下面是小編為大家整理收集的15組超級易混淆的托福考試單詞,僅供大家參考。

              1. affect vs. effect

              affect: 動詞,改變to change or make a difference to

              effect: 名詞,影響a result; to bring about a result

              2. aloud vs. allowed

              aloud: 副詞,用作狀語out loud

              * 形容人聲很吵鬧的時候,不用aloud,而用loudly: He speaks loudly.

              allowed: 動詞過去分詞,可以用作定語permitted

              3. appraise vs. apprise

              appraise: 評估to assess/ evaluate

              apprise: 通知,告知to inform someone

              *appreciate 欣賞不要以為拼錯了就可以輕易地一走了之~

              4. aural vs. oral

              aural: 聽覺的relating to the ears or hearing

              oral: 口頭的relating to the mouth; spoken

              5. bare vs. bear

              bare: 裸露的naked; to uncover

              bear: 承受,忍受to carry; to put up with發音真的完全一樣!

              6. complement vs. compliment

              complement: 補充,使完美to add to so as to improve; an addition that improves something

              compliment: 贊美to praise or express approval; an admiring remark一字之差!

              7. currant vs. current

              currant: 葡萄干!a dried grape

              current: 現行的,水流/氣流/電流happening now; a flow of water, air, or electricity

              8. desert vs. dessert

              desert: 荒漠,不毛之地a waterless, empty area; to abandon someone

              dessert: 甜品the sweet course of a meal寫這個的時候,你是不是餓啦~

              9. disinterested vs. uninterested

              disinterested: 客觀的,公正的impartial

              uninterested: 不感興趣的not interested

              10. ensure vs. insure

              ensure: 確保to make certain that something will happen

              insure: 投保to provide compensation if a person dies or property is damaged

              11. forbear vs. forebear

              forbear: 克制to refrain

              forebear: 祖先an ancestor

              記憶Tips

              1) for bear = 為了忍受(抖M在克制!)

              2) fore是“前面的”,比如forehead不就是前額嘛~bear是“生”,不然你以為born的動詞原形怎么拼?所以forebear = 我們其面生的,那不就是祖先嘛!

              12. loose vs. lose

              loose: 松開,釋放to unfasten; to set free

              lose: 失去,丟失to be deprived of; to be unable to find

              記憶Tips(我覺得我這個方法簡直絕了!)

              loose把一個o給弄丟了,于是變成了lose

              13. pour vs. pore

              pour: 傾倒to flow or cause to flow

              pore: 孔,鉆研a tiny opening; to study something closely

              14. principal vs. principle

              principal: 最重要的,校長most important; the head of a school

              principle: 原則a fundamental rule or belief

              15. storey vs. story

              storey: 臺階a level of a building

              story: 故事a tale or account
