Last week we had a discussion about whether we still need Confucian thought in modern society. About 60% of the students in my class think it necessary to study Confucian thought. But every coin has two sides. About 40% of the students in my class insist Confucian thought is outdated. In a way it limits the development of the world.
Different people have different opinions. I think Confucian thought still has some positive effects on our society.
