              1. await VS wait

              await vt.

              7. than VS then

              than conj.

              意:use it after a comparative adjective or adverb in order to link two parts of a comparison.

              8. maintain VS sustain

              maintain vt.

              意:continue to have it, and do not let it stop or grow weaker.

              sustain vt.

              意:continue it or maintain it for a period of time.

              例:He has sustained his fierce social conscience from young adulthood through old age.
