I firmly believe that books are the ladder of human progress, for it will ultimately purify man's soul and enlighten their thoughts. Hereby I would introduce my favorite novel to you, Stone Story.
The Stone Story is a masterpiece of Chinese vernacular literature and one of China's Four Great Classical Novels. It takes the Rongguo house's daily life as the center, describing a tragic love marriage among Lin Daiyu, Jia Baoyu and Xue baochai. By stating stories of characters, this book also depicts the decline of the big families, which means feudal society would terminate inevitably.
From this book, I acquired numerous aspects that enrich my thought. Firstly I get aware that true love cannot be changed by the environment, the time and people, love is love. Moreover, the conventional marriage concept is no longer effective in nowadays’ society, because it will ruin the pure affection between lovers. These ideas are not only for the youth to keep in mind, also fit the adults somehow. So I introduce and invite you to read this book for living a better life.
